Shahid Afridi joins Ravi Shastri’s tone regarding changes in ODI cricket

Team India’s former cricketer and head coach Ravi Shastri recently said that to save the future of ODI cricket, it should be changed to 40-40 overs instead of 50-50 overs. Now former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi has also come to join this tone of Shastri. Shahid Afridi said that now ODI cricket is getting boring and that is why it is necessary to change it. A few years back, it seemed that the future of Test cricket was in danger, but after the start of the World Test Championship, people’s interest in Test cricket is being seen again.

Shahid Afridi says ODI cricket is getting boring now

Shahid Afridi said on Saamana TV, ‘One day cricket is becoming very boring now. I suggest that one-day cricket should be changed to 40-40 overs instead of 50-50 overs. This will make it more entertaining. In fact, recently Ben Stokes retired from ODI cricket citing the busy cricket schedule. He is the captain of the Test team.
