She wrote on Facebook:-

“Before you get too exciting, some teams contacted him directly ahead of time to see if he can appear for the entire season. But unfortunately, he can’t because of the Sri Lanka series! That’s why he was selecting. Not done that’s no big deal, it’s not the end, there’s always next year!” He wrote on Facebook.

“He was expecting to leave the SL series in order to be selected. So, if he had been selected would you have said the same? Or would you have made him a traitor by now? Sorry to pour water on your excitement,” she continued.
