Shane Warne turns 52 today (September 13), perhaps the greatest spinner of all time.

Warne goal was the star of the Australian Footballer:

Warne was young, he was more interested in football and tennis. His goal was to become the star of the Australian Football League (AFL). But an incident at the age of 18 changed Warne’s life and led him to become a cricketer.

Focused all his energy on doing the best-

Warne once described the incident by saying that he had only two options after this rejection. Instead of cursing his luck, he focused on doing something better and focused all his energy on doing the best of himself to do something better, which was to spin the ball leg. He said that he had got this gift of rotating his wrists since childhood. And gave him a head start as his wrists were bigger than others. After that, he never looked back and pushed himself to learn leg-spin.

In this interview, Warne also told how he mastered the craft. Shane used to place the stumps on a fixed spot on the cricket pitch and then throw the ball around it for hours. He kept challenging himself and tried to hit the ball on the pitch thrice a day. He kept practicing by keeping a handkerchief on the pitch for a long time. And it became an obsession for him.
