Injuries of players before the T20 World Cup have continuously increased the problems of Team India. Earlier, Team India’s most important fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was out of the tournament due to injury. Now Deepak Chahar is also seen in the same condition. Two more fast bowlers can fill Australia’s flight with Shami, one of which is named Shardul. While the other is named Mohammed Siraj. Siraj impressed with his performance in the three-match ODI series against South Africa. He was adjudged Man of the Series by taking five wickets in the series while bowling economical.

Shardul is very disappointed that he has not been able to make his place in the team for the T20 World Cup.

On Thursday, Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami and Shardul Thakur can leave for Australia. All three will join Team India in Perth. The 14-member Indian team has already reached Australia. Earlier, Shardul’s name was not discussed far and wide, but Deepak Chahar’s injury has created an opportunity for him. During the ODI series against South Africa itself, Shardul had said that he was very disappointed that he has not been able to make his place in the team for the T20 World Cup.

Shardul then said,

‘Yes, I am definitely disappointed with this because every player’s dream is to play the WC for his team.’ Chahar impressed with his performance but his injury has once again put the team management in trouble. Shardul can do wonders with the ball as well as with the bat. So he can be included in Team India as a standby. The (BCCI) will have to announce the replacement of Jasprit Bumrah by October 15.
