Sherfane Rutherford returns from the IPL

Sherfane Rutherford returned from the IPL. After the death of his father. The 23-year-old Guyana batsman was recently settled by Sunrisers Hyderabad as a replacement for Jonny Bairstow, who was ruled out of the UAE leg of this 2021 season.

The franchise tweeted :-

‘The SRH family extend their condolences to Sherfane Rutherford and his family. Sherfane was a central figure in the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots side that lifted the CPL 2021 trophy.

Rutherford was the team’s second-highest run-scorer, scoring three half-centuries for the season in his tally of 262 runs at a strike rate of 127.18.
