New Delhi: India’s left-handed opener Shikhar Dhawan has started his own sports education and training organization named The One Sports. The organization will work towards setting up training for young children from the grassroots level. Shikhar Dhawan’s sports venture aims to create learning opportunities for athletes and sports coaches for a better future.

The Academy has initiated various programs like ‘Grassroots Innovation Program’ and ‘Sports Training Program’ and will focus on developing a sports culture at the grassroots level and ultimately to schools and academies while ensuring the use of technology to keep track. Will join hands together. Under its ‘Sports and Wellness Programme’, the organization aims to impact one million athletes over the next five years.

Shikhar Dhawan cleans India 3-0 ODI series in West Indies

I think cricket has given me a lot and I want to do my part towards keeping it alive. I want to pass on my knowledge and experience to the younger generation through this organization. And believe that if we try our best, we can turn your dreams into reality. On the cricket front, Shikhar Dhawan led India to a 3-0 ODI series clean sweep in the West Indies. Retained as India captain for the upcoming three-match ODI series in Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club from 18 to 22 August.
