Shoaib Akhtar said this about Umran Malik on the question of breaking his record

India’s young bowler Umran Malik once again surprised everyone with his pace in the first match of the 3-match T20I series against Sri Lanka. He bowled at a speed of 155kph against Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka in the 17th over. Not only did he get Shanaka’s wicket on this ball, but he also broke Jasprit Bumrah’s record in terms of speed.

Umran Malik became India’s fastest bowler :-

Umran Malik became the fastest bowler for India. Earlier in the IPL, he had created a sensation by bowling at a speed of 157kph against Delhi.

Umran now has the record of world’s fastest bowler Shoaib Akhtar. Akhtar, popularly known as Rawalpindi Express, bowled the fastest ball at a speed of 161.3kph against England during the 2003 World Cup.

Shoaib Akhtar said this about Umran Malik on the question of breaking his record.

What did Akhtar say on Umran ?

Talking to Sportskeeda, when Shoaib Akhtar was asked about his record, Akhtar laughed and said, “I will be happy if he breaks my record, but at the same time he laughs that he will break his bones while breaking my record.” Don’t get him broken I mean keep him fit.

Let us tell you that earlier when Umran Malik was asked about breaking this record of Shoaib Akhtar, he said that if I am lucky, I will break this record.
