Sri Lanka won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat. Shakib Al Hasan’s team put 183 runs on the board for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs on the basis of the mixed performance of the players.

During this, Afif Hossain scored 39 and Mehdi Hasan Mirazoo played the highest innings of 38 runs. Chasing the target, the Sri Lankan team achieved this score in 19.2 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Captain Shanaka played a brilliant innings of 45 runs with opener Kusal Mendis (60).
