SL vs PAK 2022: Sri Lankan Captain was Gifted With Victory by The Team Players On His Birthday. Sri Lanka’s captain Dasun Shanaka celebrated his 31st birthday on 9 September.

Sri Lanka and Pakistan played the last match of Super 4 before the Asia Cup final on Sunday. Batting first, Pakistan was reducing to 121 runs.
In reply, Sri Lanka won the match with 3 overs to spare. The hero of the match was Vanindo Hasaranga, who picked up 3 important wickets and also played not-out innings of 10 runs with the bat.
Dasun Shanaka turns 31, and got the gift of victory:-
Under the captaincy of Dasun Shanaka, the Sri Lankan team has performed brilliantly in the Asia Cup. After losing the first match, the team made a great comeback and defeated a strong team like India and Pakistan in Super 4 matches. Dasun has played 73 T20s, 42 ODIs, and 6 International Test matches.
This birthday will be the most memorable for Dasun as under his captaincy the Sri Lanka team reached the finals and mentally strengthened their players by winning all the Super 4 matches.
Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Final:-
In the final of the Asia Cup, Sri Lanka made first place, after which Pakistan became the second team after defeating India and Afghanistan. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will once again face off in Dubai on Sunday. Pakistan will be eyeing their third title.
