South African player reacts to his first international year and WTC final

The last year may not have gone so well for the South Africa team, but their team has got an excellent fast bowler in the form of Marco Jansen as well as a great lower-order batsman. Marco Jansen made his international debut a year back in 2021 with the Boxing-Day Test match against India and now a year later he has given a big response to his first international year. According to Marco Jansen, his first year has gone better than expected.

Before the Sydney Test match against Australia. Marco Jansen said about his first international year that, ‘It did not start very well. My first over in Test cricket was expensive. But now one year has gone better than expected. I think a better start could not have been expected from this. Marco Jansen, a tall left-arm fast bowler has played 8 matches in his Test career. in which he has taken 36 wickets. In the recent Melbourne Test match, he showed his prowess with the bat as well and scored his maiden half-century. Marco Jansen has recently been nominated by the ICC for Emerging Player 2022.

Jansen on his hopes going into the World Test Championship: ‘We have three Test matches left to enter the final, obviously we want to win all three to give ourselves the best chance to reach the Test Championship final Would like to So it’s not like we’re just going into this match thinking it’s just another match and we move through it.
