Sri Lanka batsman Kusal Mendis has tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of his Twenty20 series in Australia, the country’s cricket board said on Tuesday.
The Bio-Bubble Anti-Coronavirus Protocol :-
Mendis was naming in the 20-man squad last month after returning from a merger imposed for breaking the team’s bio-bubble anti-coronavirus protocol during their tour of England in July.

“He will be founding positive during Routine Rapid Antigen Test (RAT).” The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Board said in a statement.
Mendis‘s Routine Rapid Antigen Test :-
“Kusal will be founding positive during Routine Rapid Antigen Test (RAT).” The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Board said in a statement. “Mendis is currently undergoing COVID-19 protocol and will be placing in isolation since Monday.”
The five-match T20 series is starting in Sydney from Friday.

Mendis will be founding positive at the time of a routine rapid antigen test (RAT) conducted on Monday (February 7). And then backed up by an RT-PCR test later in the day.

The Sri Lankan national team left for Australia on 3 February. Kusal Mendis is currently in isolation as per the Kovid-19 protocol.
The T20I series with Sri Lanka and Australia will begin on February 11 at the SCG.
