Strength of KKR Doubled, the Batsman Who hit 110 Runs in 25 Balls Came in PSL

Opening Combination of KKR May Change

KKR has played 3 matches in IPL 2023 so far and in all the three matches, different batsmen started the innings with Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Jason Roy went unsold in the mini auction of IPL 2023. He has been associated with KKR as a replacement player due to the exclusion of Shakib Al Hasan and Shreyas Iyer. He has been bought by KKR for Rs 2.8 crore. Roy was last seen playing in IPL 2021. He was joined by Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022 auction. But, he did not play due to bio-bubble. In 2021, he scored 150 runs in 5 matches against Hyderabad.

Roy hit a Record-Breaking Century in PSL

At the same time, before the IPL, this English batsman had played for Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League and he had scored 145 runs in 63 balls against Babar Azam’s team Peshawar Zalmi in a match. During his innings, Jason Roy hit 20 fours and 5 sixes. That is, 110 runs were scored in 25 balls with fours and sixes. In such a situation, KKR’s batting will be strengthened with the arrival of Roy.
