The Announced for Women’s 6IXTY, CPL:-

Those have been announced for the inaugural edition of the Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) as well as the women’s 6IXTY, CPL on Tuesday (16 August).

The WCPL will be played at Warner Park in St Kitts from 31 August to 4 September, while 6IXTY will be played from 24 to 28 August at the same venue as the precursor to the tournament.

Women’s CPL: South African all-rounder Luce will be part of the Diandra Dottin-led Tribango Knight Riders along with New Zealand’s Hayley Jensen and Geetika Kodali.

The Joining USA’s Isani Vaghela:-

Sri Lanka captain Athapaththu will join Guyana Amazon Warriors along with Ayabonga Khaka and USA’s Isani Vaghela. Former West Indies captain Stephanie Taylor will lead the team in the three-team tournament.

Hayley Matthews’s Barbados Royals have signed up with United States’ Snigdha Paul along with Pakistan all-rounder Sanaa, and South Africa’s Chloe Tryon. All three USA players are part of his Under-19 team.

Women’s CPL: “We are really pleased with the quality of the international signings for the opening of the WCPL and 6IXTY tournaments and we look forward to welcoming these players to St Kitt’s for these two exciting tournaments,” said CPL CEO Pete Russell.

The three teams will play each other once in the WCPL in a round-robin format and the best two teams will advance to the final of the competition.
