Today’s youth are under a lot of pressure:-
Responding to the way Indian cricket has changed since 2005 – when Raina made his foray into international cricket, the former Indian batsman said that the young cricketer is now under different pressures. “After two-three series, they find themselves under enough pressure. At the time, a coach had a long-term vision for the team.
The selectors trusted the players; That you will be given five-ten matches. You knew that your captain would give you time to get ready when you were with the team for two or three rounds but were not playing. That was a learning curve,” Raina said.
Asked if the team is lacking in good cricketers like me these days who not only bat but bowl, Suresh Raina said, “I think that is the reason why we have won the 2007 World T20, 2011 World T20, etc. Cup and won the 2013 Champions Trophy.
