Surya has shared a video on Instagram, in which he has given an update on his injury and asked people to enjoy their holiday.
Suryakumar Yadav, who was the captain of the team in the last two T20 series, shared a video and wrote, “On a serious note, injuries are never fun. But I will handle it my way and promise to get back to you soon. Until then, we hope you guys are enjoying the holiday season and finding small joys in every day.

Grade-2 injury in Suryakumar Yadav ankle :-
Suryakumar captained the Indian team in the recently concluded T20 series against Australia and South Africa. SKY suffered a grade-2 injury to his ankle while fielding during the third T20 match against South Africa.
The injury was suffered against Bangladesh in ODI World Cup 2023 :-
Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya suffered a heel injury during the match against Bangladesh in the ODI World Cup 2023, from which he is recovering. There is no update regarding Hardik Pandya’s injury, so there is doubt over his playing in the series against Afghanistan starting from January 11.
Due to the exclusion of these two players, a big problem has arisen in front of India. Rohit can return as captain against Afghanistan.
