Indiaโ€™s star batsman Suryakumar Yadav has become the worldโ€™s number one batsman in the latest T20 International rankings released by the International Cricket Council on Wednesday, thanks to his stellar form in the recent past.

Suryakumar Yadav came to the top position leaving Rizwan behind :-

Suryakumar surpassed Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan to take the top spot. He is only the second Indian batsman to reach the top of the T20 International rankings.

Apart from cementing his place in the Indian team since his T20 International debut in March last year, Suryakumar has also carved a niche for himself in world cricket as one of the best batsmen in the shortest format of the game.

T20I Career of Suryakumar :-

Suryakumar Yadav has scored a century and 11 half-centuries in 37 T20Is for India. He has also represented India in 13 One Day Internationals. Suryakumar has 863 while Rizwan has 842 marks. Devon Conway of New Zealand is in the top three with 792 points.
