India will meet Pakistan on the cricket field after two years :-
India meet Pakistan on the cricket field two years later. And the last time they met each other was in the 2019 WC. Where India beat PAK by 89 runs (D/L method) in Manchester. They will meet each other in T20Is for the first time in five years.
Both the teams will face each other in their respective opening matches in Dubai. Both the teams have performed well across formats since the 2016 T20 World Cup. Pakistan has the second-highest win-loss ratio of 2.3 after Afghanistan (4.833) and is followed by India with 2.045.

Fear of 5-0:- India has faced Pakistan five times in the T20 World Cup and India has won all the matches. There was technically a tie, the group stage game in the 2007 T20 World Cup, but India won the ball outs in that game to take full points. Below are the results:-

India’s highest wicket-taker Irfan Pathan has taken six wickets in three innings. Both R Ashwin and R Jadeja have taken two wickets each from the team present.
Pakistan’s highest wicket-taker Mohammad Asif was the highest wicket-taker with five wickets in two innings. None of the team present has taken a wicket.
India’s highest score:- 157/5 in Johannesburg in 2007. India posted a score of 157/5 after electing to bat first. Gautam Gambhir guided him to the top-scoring 75 off 54 balls. Rohit Sharma has scored 30 runs in 16 balls.
Pakistan lost by 5 runs and India won the title in the inaugural edition.
Pakistan’s highest score Sang Se Pakistan’s highest score against India came in the same final in Johannesburg. Misbah-ul-Haq was dismissed for 152 in 38 balls with 43 runs.
Batting first, Pakistan’s highest score was 130/7 in the 2014 WT20I in Dhaka. Ahmed Shehzad was the highest run-scorer with 22 runs in 17 balls.
India’s lowest score:- India’s lowest score in T20 World Cup vs Pakistan in that tie match in Durban in 2007 is 141/9. Robin Uthappa’s 50 off 39 balls and late partnerships from MS Dhoni, Irfan Pathan, and Ajit Agarkar saw them reel into 36/4 inside 7 overs after 141/9. The match ended in a tie and India won the bowl out.
Pakistan’s lowest score against India in the ICC T20 WC came in the 2012 edition in Colombo. India chased down the objective with eight wickets and three overs to spare.

Head to head:- India has kept its fears on Pakistan overall. They have defeated Pakistan in 6 out of 8 matches and lost only one. With there being a tie in that 2007 T20 World Cup.
India’s Highest Run Scorer vs Pakistan:- Virat Kohli has been India’s highest run-scorer against Pakistan in T20Is. Hayes scored 254 runs in six innings at 84.66 with two half-centuries and a strike rate of 118.6.
Pakistan’s Highest Run Scorer Vs India:- Shoaib Malik has been the highest run-scorer for Pakistan against India. He has scored 164 runs in 8 innings at an average of 27.33.

Batting first against Pakistan in T20Is, India’s lowest score came in India’s tour of Pakistan in 2012, where they scored only 133/9 after an opening stand of 77 runs between Gambhir (43) and Ajinkya Rahane (42).
