T20 WC 2022: Butler selected Suryakumar as player of the tournament before the final

The T20 World Cup 2022 has reached its final stage. The final match of this tournament is between Pakistan and England. The captains of both the teams gave their opinion about the player who will be the player of the tournament before the match. During this, both the captains were clear that in their eyes which player deserves to win this award.

England captain Jos Butler said that India’s Suryakumar Yadav deserves this award for his stormy batting. At the same time, Pakistan captain Babar Azam said that his fellow player Shadab Khan should be given this award.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam named his teammate Shadab Khan

Pakistan captain Babar Azam took the name of his teammate Shadab Khan. Babar said, “I think Shadab Khan should be (Player of the Tournament) for the way he is playing. In the last three matches His excellent performance as well as his fielding has made him a prime contender for player of the tournament.”

Shadab batted brilliantly against South Africa in Sydney and contributed significantly to Pakistan’s victory. He made a useful contribution with the ball as well, scoring a brilliant half-century. He has taken 10 wickets in six matches with an economy rate of 6.59.

Apart from Suryakumar Yadav and Shadab Khan, India’s Virat Kohli, England’s Jos Buttler, Alex Hales and Sam Curran, Pakistan’s Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza and Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga have been selected for the award.
