The Two Global Qualifiers :-

The tournament is one of two global qualifiers that form the last leg of the qualification tactic for men. T20 World Cup 2022 will be held in Australia.

A total of 20 matches will be played in the tournament involving eight teams – Oman, Bahrain, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Nepal, Philippines, and UAE.

Ireland and Oman qualified for the tournament after being eliminated in the first round of the T20 World Cup 2021 in the United Arab Emirates, while Nepal and the UAE booked their places in the ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings through their rankings.

The other participating teams qualified through regional qualifying tournaments organized during the previous year.

The Divided Into Two Groups :-

In Qualifier A the teams are dividing into two groups of four. Each team will play all the other teams in their group once, followed by various matches. Both the teams reaching the final will proceeing to the T20 World Cup 2022 to be holding in Australia.

Group A of the qualifiers includes Canada, Nepal, Oman, and the Philippines, while Group B includes Bahrain, Germany, Ireland, and the UAE.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier B will be holding in Harare from July 11-17 and will including Hong Kong, Jersey, Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Uganda, the USA along with hosts Zimbabwe.

The ICC chief said, “70 teams have started the qualification strategy for this event and we are now in the final stage with four places in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, which will be decided in the two global qualifiers in Oman. ” Of Events, Chris Tetley.

The Schedule of Preliminary Matches :-

• 18 Feb: Oman vs Nepal, Canada vs Philippines. Ireland vs UAE; Germany vs Bahrain.
• 19 Feb: Oman vs Canada, Nepal vs Philippines. UAE v Germany, and Ireland v Bahrain.
• 21 Feb: Ireland vs Germany. UAE vs Bahrain and Nepal vs Canada, Oman vs Philippines.
