T20 World Cup 2022: Ashish Nehra selected 15-member Indian team, included these players

T20 World Cup 2022, Ashish Nehra: After a disappointing performance in the Asia Cup 2022, Rohit Sharma’s team India will now play T20 series with Australia and South Africa at their home before the T20 World Cup 2022.

This series will give the team a chance to improve their combinations and mistakes before the T20 World Cup 2022 to be held in Australia in October-November. Meanwhile, former fast bowler Ashish Nehra has selected his 15-member Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2022.

Ashish Nehra did not keep Shami in his 15 member team :-

Nehra kept a big player out of this team. His name is Mohammed Shami. Fast bowler Shami had contributed significantly to Gujarat Titans’ title win in IPL 2022. Nehra was the coach of this team.

Jasprit Bumrah, Harshal Patel, Arshdeep Singh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are among the four fast bowlers that Nehra has selected in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2022. Nehra said that Shami did not attract the attention of the selectors as he is a Test specialist.

Place given to Chahal and Jadeja in his team :-

Nehra said Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja have been selected as two spinners apart from one other spin bowler in the T20 squad for the World Cup. “Not only are Chahal and Jadeja important, even Ravi Ashwin is important. Even if he plays, he can still make an impact,” he added.

The former fast bowler believes that KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli should be in India’s top 3. Suryakumar Yadav should definitely be in the playing XI.
