T20 World Cup: Hardik Pandya creates history against Pakistan, becomes first Indian to do so
IND vs PAK, Hardik Pandya: In their first match of T20 World Cup 2022 being played at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), India got a target of 160 runs from Pakistan. India have had a poor start in response to this target and have lost their four wickets at 31.
India need 60 runs from the last 5 overs till the time of writing the news to win the match. Hardik Pandya and run chase machine Virat Kohli are at the crease. There has been a half-century partnership between the two for the fifth wicket. Meanwhile, Hardik has set a new record in his name in T20 International cricket.

Hardik became the first Indian to do so in T20I :-
Hardik has become the first Indian cricketer to score 1000 runs and also take 50 wickets in T20 International cricket. Hardik was amazing in the bowling at first, spending only 30 runs in four overs and then taking three big wickets.
In these, he took the wickets of Shadab Khan, Haider Ali and then Mohammad Nawaz. The Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya then came into the bat and formed a formidable partnership with Virat.

Talking about the match, Shan Masood scored an unbeaten 52 and Iftikhar Ahmed scored a half-century of 51 runs for Pakistan. Apart from him, Shaheen Afridi contributed 16 runs in 8 balls.
For India, Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya took three wickets each while Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami got one success each. Apart from this, Virat Kohli played a match-winning innings of 82 runs off 53 balls.
