T20 World Cup will have all the venues at 70% capacity

The upcoming Men’s T20 World Cup, in the United Arab Emirates and Oman. (for some first-round games) in October–November will witness significant spectator attendance, so the T20 World Cup will have all venues at 70% capacity.

In which all stadiums will be ready to consent people at 70% capacity throughout the tournament. The ICC announced this on Sunday.

The Large scale tournament :-

These tournaments will be held in the UAE since the pandemic in terms of their contribution. Which will make the tournament organized on a large scale. The second half of the latest PSL, proposed in the UAE in June this year, was not open to spectators.

There are fans in “low capacity” places in the IPL. Allowing the congrats to arrive for IPL matches, as ESPNcricinfo reported earlier, was also a dress rehearsal of sorts for regional governments in the UAE, ICC, and BCCI for the World Cup.

In a statement to the ICC :-

An ICC statement said, “The ICC and event host BCCI has worked closely with hospitality officials to determine whether fans can be welcomed in a safe environment and that COVID-19 protocols will be in place at all locations. “

Ticket sales for the Games have already started in both Oman and the UAE. The stadium in Abu Dhabi will also include social distancing pods.

There are four people in each, while a makeshift structure at the Oman Cricket Academy will enable up to 3000 fans to attend in person.

The T20 World Cup begins in Muscat on October 17, with Oman taking on Papua New Guinea in the first round, with four teams making the top-eight teams in the main event.

Which starts on 23 October, when Australia takes on South Africa in Abu Dhabi is the venue for the Dubai final, which will take place on 14 November.
