Team India: Anil Kumble Created Panic With his Statement

Anil Kumble On Team India: Former India cricketer and former coach Anil Kumble has given a big statement regarding the future of Team India. Anil Kumble has named two such players who can take Team India forward in the coming times. Both these players are constantly becoming a part of Team India. Both these players are getting frequent opportunities in the T20 series being played against New Zealand.

Anil Kumble Told These Players the Future of the Team

Anil Kumble has named Arshdeep Singh and Ishan Kishan as India’s upcoming stars, who will take the team forward. Arshdeep made his T20 debut against England in July last year and since then has taken 39 wickets in 25 matches. In the same year, the left-arm fast bowler made his ODI debut against New Zealand in November.

Explosive Batsman

Wicket-keeper batsman Ishaan scored a double ODI hundred against Bangladesh last year which saw him enter the record books. He created history by becoming the seventh batsman to score a double century in One Day International cricket and the fastest to achieve the feat. Kumble was quoted as saying by Geo Cinema, ‘After working closely with someone like Arshdeep, it is wonderful to see what he has done for India growing. I will see Arshdeep as the next superstar bowler to come. From a batting point of view, Ishan Kishan is someone who has been brilliant in the opportunities he has got. He scored a double century and I think he will be a superstar.

Chris Gayle Also Gave this Statement

While West Indies star Chris Gayle agreed with Kumble on both the players, former India cricketer Parthiv Patel also named Arshdeep. Also named fast bowler Umran Malik and batsman Tilak Verma. Patel further said, ‘He is fast and bowls well and has already played for India. After watching Tilak Verma over the years batting wise, I got a chance to track him down and see what kind of cricketer he has become. We have seen his batting ability and he has the ability to lead the team from the front.
