What did Gavaskar Say?
Gavaskar said in an interview, “When you see a champion being honoured, you want to be like that too. When your athletes are improving at their best, that’s when you know everything is on track. There are two titles that I want the Indian men’s team to win – the World Test Championship and the ODI World Cup. Of course there is the Asia Cup between these two. If he comes back to India, nothing good will come of it.
