Players of the Indian cricket team take the Dalgona candy challenge pulled from the Netflix blockbuster ‘Squid Game’ in a promotional video shared by the ICC on Wednesday ahead of the 2021 T20 World Cup.

As seen in the third episode of the South Korean drama. The challenge requires players to carve out the textures drawn in the candies without breaking them. There are also players who fail to work within a certain time limit. Or break the candy, are killing.

The game has gone viral on social media platforms in recent weeks, and the Indian cricket team was not to back down.
“India checked in to a nerve-wracking game,” ICC wrote in its Instagram post accompanying the video.
“The players of the Indian cricket team are kept under observation. With the game made famous by one of the world’s most talked-about shows,” it added.

In the video, many players like – Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Varun Ch., Mohammed Shami, and Jas. Bumrah is seen taking part in this challenge.
Players like:- Varun, Rahul, S. Yadav, and Bumrah fail to differentiate as they break their candy while trying to carve the shapes.
However, Rohit Sharma succeeds, as they manage to cut the shapes out of the candy with surgical precision.
India will start their T20 World Cup campaign against the arch-rivals Pakistan in Dubai on October 24. After defeating England and Australia in their two warm-up matches, the Indian team will be full of self-confidence.
For the oblivious, only Rohit Sharma and Shami succeeded while the likes of Rahul, Sky, Varun, and Bumrah staggered. The video has been shared on the official Instagram handle of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
