The BCCI has named India women’s ODI and T20I squads for the tour of England, with senior pacer Jhulan Goswami in the ODI squad.

Goswami to tour England with the ODI team

Jhulan Goswami will tour England with the ODI team as the BCCI has named the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side. Domestic sensation Kiran Navgire was called up in the T20I squad.

Navgire, who made a mark at the domestic level and in the Women’s T20 Challenge earlier this year, makes it to the T20 squad.

The CWG 2022 in the T20I squad:-

There was no place for Yastika Bhatia, who made an appearance in the T20I squad as a concussion substitute in the CWG 2022 final but retained her place in the ODI squad.

Both Teams were Named:-

Jemima Rodrigues, who was ruled out of The Hundred in England due to a wrist injury, Jemima was named in both teams.

Dayalan Hemlata, who last played a T20I in 2019, was also recalled to the squad. He is also involved in ODIs, where his last appearance came against South Africa at home in 2021.

India’s tour of England begins on September 10 and will consist of three T20Is and three ODIs. The T20I will be the first assignment for India after winning a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham earlier this month.
