CWI is aware that the voice notes were circulated on social media-

A section of the media has alleged a rift within the party for forcing the CWI to issue a recent denial. “CWI is aware that the voice notes were circulated on social media. and in some sections of regional broadcast media, suggesting that there is a rift within the West Indies senior men’s team. Unlike the unfounded statements that are baseless and mischievous allegations. CWI I am satisfied that there is no dispute between the captain of the team and any member of the West Indies team.”

Skerritt himself said, “I see this as a malicious attack on the credibility of the West Indies captain. Those have been made to sow division within our team. He has played three very impressive tees against very strong opponents (England). Has recorded 20i performance. This is well clear effort. And well-known miscreants to defame the captain should not be tolerated or encouraged (sic).
