The Indian team had to face defeat by 21 runs at the hands of Australia in the third ODI. With this defeat, the victory chariot of Team India running on the home soil also got braked. Indian batsmen left no stone unturned to nail down the third match and the batting order decorated with veteran players was scattered like cards.
Injury of players is giving tension to Rohit –
Captain Rohit Sharma was also fuming after Australia lost the ODI series at home after four years. Along with this, he confessed that the injury of important players also worked to drown the loot of the team. Rohit said that the constant injury of players is a matter of concern and we are missing those players who should really be part of the playing XI.
After the defeat in the third ODI, Indian captain Rohit Sharma said – “It is a matter of concern. We are missing those players who should be part of the playing XI in true sense. To be honest, everyone is giving their best to get everyone on the field. We are focusing a lot on player management and that is why we have had to rest some players at times.”
All players will be fit till the World Cup –
Rohit Sharma further said – “We are trying to give our best to manage the players from our side. However, I am not a specialist who can tell you why players are getting injured. Our medical team is constantly monitoring it and trying to ensure that we can get our best 15 players ready for the World Cup.”
