BCB’s outgoing chairman Nazmul Hassan announced on Tuesday that he will have no “panel” in the upcoming board of directors election. From which it will be clear that any councilor can contest for the post of director in the upcoming election.

“I will not have any panel. I told you earlier that this election will be different. And maybe for the first time I will not have any panel and anyone can contest. Because there will be an election and whoever wins can come on board. Najmul told reporters on Tuesday after completing the last board meeting of his current term.

Najmul Told Reporters that if he Wins, he will Join Bangladesh Cricket Board as Director:

“If I win, I will come to BCB as director and after that my first request will be that I don’t want to be BCB president… but I don’t know what will happen next.”

Najmul also says that he will be very happy if he sees someone challenging him for the post of BCB president. After being elected as director in the upcoming elections.

Najmul Also Says That Whoever Comes to BCB Should Challenge Me:

“Whoever comes to BCB should challenge me and someone should say that he wants to be the chairman but no one says that. It is not a good sign.

“We should have a pipeline of leaders. And new leaders with new ideas but unfortunately no one is ready to come forward. And take up the challenge,” he said.
