Facing its Worst Water Crisis:-

IND vs ZIM: Zimbabwe’s capital Harare is facing its worst water crisis in years.

There is no water in many parts of Harare for three days and there are long queues of people for drinking water.

Amidst the crisis, the BCCI has asked KL Rahul and Company to save water as much as possible and take a frequent baths to avoid wastage of water.

The Severe water shortage in many parts of Cape Town:-

Team India had to face a similar situation during their tour of South Africa in 2018. At that time there was a severe water shortage in many parts of Cape Town.

The BCCI asked the players to use as little water as possible. Even hotels had to put up sign boards to prevent wastage of water.

A BCCI official told InsideSport, “Yes, the water situation in Harare is critical and the players have been informed.

They have been asked not to waste water at any cost and take bath in the shortest possible time. Also, pool sessions have been curtailed to save water.”

Every Year faces a severe water crisis:-

The Zimbabwean capital faces a serious water crisis almost every year. 2019 was the worst for them when people here had to use sewage water.

With the situation still grim, the BCCI has asked the players to be cautious and use as little water as possible.

As far as players are concerned, the shower time has been reduced. Pool sessions have also been reduced to save water.
