The Stars from New Zealand and Australia have made huge strides in the MRF ICC Player Rankings for Women’s ODIs after stellar performances in their respective series against India and England.
Ahead of the 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, New Zealand, and Australian players have displayed some great form, which bodes well for their respective sides as they prepare for the tournament.

In the ODI batting charts, Amy Satterthwaite has moved up a spot to the third position with 730 rating points. His rankings rose after his excellent performance in the first ODI against India, where he scored 63 off 67 balls, helping the hosts win.
Suzy Bates also pointed in the same match, scoring a scintillating century that helped her jump five places on the charts to be ranked 17th.
The Women’s Ashes also concluded in Melbourne last week, with batsmen from both sides putting on some fine performances. England opener Tammy Beaumont scored a half-century to help him move up three places to number three.
Australian captain Meg Lanning also made an unbeaten 57 in the same match, helping her move up three places to number four. Ellyse Perry was another big lead, courtesy of an unbeaten 31, which helped her reach the top ten with 661 rating points.
In the bowling charts, England’s Sophie Ecclestone moved up one place to second after a frugal spell of 1/18 in the last ODI. Australia’s Megan Schutt also jumped one place to No. 3 after a 2/25 spell in the same competition.
Perry made a significant contribution to the match with figures of 1/8 with the ball, helping him move up three places to No.
From New Zealand, Lee Tahuhu jumped four places to number 13 with figures of 1/36 in the first ODI against India. India’s Rajeshwari Gaikwad also bowled brilliantly in the same match, picking up two wickets. And losing just 28 runs to move up five places to the 16th position.
In the all-rounder’s chart, Sophie Devine rose to the eighth position. After scoring 13 runs and taking a wicket in the first ODI against India.
