ICC Player of the Month : Australia’s Test captain Pat Cummins, Pakistan captain Babar Azam and West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite have been named for the ‘ICC Men’s Player of the Month’ award for March 2022. Let’s know why all the players have been nominated :-

Cummins played an important role in winning the 1-0 test series against Pakistan :-
ICC Player of the Month: Pat Cummins played a key role in the 1-0 Test series win against Pakistan. Cummins took the highest 12 wickets in the Pakistan-Australia Test series. Pat Cummins took eight wickets in the last Test. He was also given the title of ‘Player of the Match’ for his brilliant performance.
ICC Player of the Month: Babar Azam did wonders :-
Babar Azam of Pakistan has been named for being the third highest run-scorer in the Pakistan-Australia Test series. In his five innings in the Pakistan-Australia Test series, Babar Azam scored 390 runs at an average of 78. He made two half-centuries and a century.

Babar Azam nominated for ICC Player of the Month because he did well in the ODI series in Lahore. He played important innings in the first two matches. He scored 57 runs in the first ODI, although Pakistan lost the match by 88 runs. Azam gave Pakistan a thrilling six-wicket win in the second match.
Kraigg Brathwaite of West West Indies also included in the list :-
ICC Player of the Month: At the same time, Brathwaite played a key role in the West Indies’ 1-0 win against England in the recent Test series. With 341 runs in six innings at an average of 85.25, Brathwaite became the highest run-scorer in the Richards-Botham Trophy.
He scored two half-centuries in his six innings, including 160 in the second Test in Barbados. After this, Brathwaite was also named ‘Player of the Series’ for his good performance.
