Team India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya has a birthday today on October 11. He turns 28 today. Hardik was born on 11 October 1993 in a village in the Surat district of Gujarat.
Hardik got a chance to debut in international cricket in January 2016 against Australia. In his very first match, he had to listen to the reprimand of captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni). He told an anecdote related to this in an interview.

When Hardik was 5 years old, his father’s business was ruined. The family also started having trouble in makeshift for one-time meals. But father Himanshu Pandya did not let Hardik and his brother Krunal break the dream of becoming a cricketer. He came to Baroda from Surat and sent both sons to Kiran More’s cricket academy, then this decision proved to be Hardik’s life-changing.

More’s academy–
Hardik’s game improved a lot in More’s academy. He became a better batsman as well as a bowler. He got the benefit of this and in 2013-14. Hardik started his domestic cricket career for Baroda. In the same season, Hardik won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, a domestic T20 tournament with Baroda. He was bought by Mumbai Indians in 2015. In the same season of IPL, he scored 61 runs in 31 balls against KKR.

Hardik’s name in international cricket a century-
Hardik plays 11 Tests, 63 ODIs, and 49 T20s for India so far. Hardik has scored 1286 runs in ODIs, 532 runs in Tests. He has also scored 11 fifties with 1 century in international cricket. He has taken 116 wickets in all three formats.
