Rizwan scored 141 runs at an average of 23.50 in the three-match Test series against England, with a high score of 46 in the second innings of the First Test at the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium.

Rizwan did not reach 50 in any of the six inning –

Pakistan had recently suffered a humiliating 0-3 defeat to England in the three-match Test series played at home. He scored 29, 46, 10, 30, 19 and 7 in the series.
