In the last seven months, Australia defeated India thrice in the finals :-

Exactly the same can be said about the Australian team in cricket because they always win big finals. In the last seven months, they have defeated India thrice in the finals of global tournaments, first in the World Test Championship (WTC) final at The Oval, then in the ODI World Cup final in Ahmedabad and now in the Under-19 World Cup final.

Unlike India, Australia reached the final after facing a tough fight from Pakistan in the semi-finals, after which they reminded their seniors and performed brilliantly and won their fourth Under-19 title by defeating India by 79 runs.

Talking about the match, after batting first, Australia scored 253 runs for 7 wickets, which is the highest score so far in the Under-19 World Cup final, after which Australia bowled lethally and bowled out India for 174 runs.

Australia did excellent batting and bowling :-

Rafael Macmillan and Mahli Beardman took maximum 3 wickets for Australia. Rafael Macmillan dismissed Sachin Dhas, Arvalli Avinash Rao and Raj Limbani while Beardman dismissed Adarsh Singh, Uday Saharan and Musheer Khan.

Talking about batting, the maximum runs for Australia were scored by Harjas Singh who scored 55 runs in 64 balls with the help of 3 fours and 3 sixes. Apart from this, Harry Dixon played a brilliant inning of 42 runs, Hugh Weibgen scored 48 runs and Ollie Peake played a brilliant inning of 46 runs.

Talking about the Indian camp, Raj Limbani took the maximum of 3 wickets for India while Adarsh Singh scored the maximum of 42 runs.
