Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh will get a chance to debut against Ireland

Tour of Ireland: Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh are the best performers in IPL 2022, who can get a chance in the ongoing series against Ireland. In the T20 series between India and South Africa (IND vs SA). Both these bowlers were included in the team but they could not get a chance to debut.

India plays Ireland in the first T20I on June 26 at Castle Avenue in Dublin.

WV Raman feels both Umran and Arshdeep will be played

Raman feels both Umran and Arshdeep will be played in the upcoming two-match T20I series against Ireland to mark the start of their international careers.

“Playing the same eleven in all five games isn’t a bad idea. It gives everybody a clear-cut idea of what’s going to happen and makes them feel secure. There was a good thing done by (Rahul) Dravid,” Raman told Hindustan Times.

“But Ireland games are a good opportunity for both players. Get them in and give them a taste of what international cricket is all about. I would go on to the extent of saying that they will get a chance in the series,” he added.

However, VVS Laxman’s views differ from that of Rahul Dravid. Coach Laxman wants to avoid any injury in the matches against Ireland. On the other hand, for Arshdeep and Umran, senior team player Bhuvneshwar Kumar may drop in a match despite being the vice-captain. While Harshal Patel and Avesh Khan can also be rested.
