PCB, Babar Azam: After the loss against India in the first match of the T20 World Cup 2022, a video surfaced from Pakistan’s dressing room in which captain Babar Azam was seen giving a motivational speech to his fellow players.
A similar video has now surfaced after the team reached the semi-finals. Let us tell you, after losing the first two matches of the tournament, Pakistan’s hopes of reaching the semi-finals were negligible, but due to the upset against South Africa by the Netherlands on Sunday, this team reached the semi-finals.

After the team reached the knockout round, the PCB shared a video in which the captain is seen talking to his fellow players. In the video, Babar Azam is seen saying ‘we had faith…we got a light and we have lived up to the expectations today…we were excited but we didn’t show him on the field’.
The team has always tried 100 per cent whatever we want. We have played as a team in the last two matches and will continue to do so in the future as well. Whatever comes in his hand, he should finish it.
Babar Azam praised Mohammad Haris fiercely :-
During this, Babar Azam praised 21-year-old young Mohammad Haris. Haris showed such a stormy game in just two balls, which everyone is praising. Babar Azam gave him important advice and said that
He further said, ‘Harry, you have played wonderfully Mashaallah.. This little thing will give you more confidence when you come to finish the match. Then your confidence level will be different.
When the match is in hand, you don’t have to throw wickets. We too have gone through this and we too were told the same by our elders. This will make you play differently in the next match because then you are in confidence. Rest of the bowlers were superb.
Pakistan finished second with 6 points :-
Pakistan’s team finished second in Group-2 with 6 points, due to which they will face Group-1 topper New Zealand on 9 November. This match will be played in Sydney from 1:30 pm.
