Virat Kohli leaves for Indore: The second match of the India vs Afghanistan three-match T20I series is to be played on Sunday, January 14 at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. Team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli has left for Indore on January 13 for this match.
Missed the first match due to daughter Vamika’s birthday: –
Virat Kohli was selected in the T20I team after 14 months, he played his last match for India in this format during the T20 World Cup 2022. He missed the first T20I due to personal reasons, where India won by 6 wickets. Let us tell you, January 11 was the birthday of Virat Kohli’s daughter Vamika Kohli, due to which Kohli had missed the match.

Virat Kohli is now ready to join the team. A video of him has surfaced in which he has reached Mumbai airport to leave for Indore.
The biggest question is who will Virat Kohli replace in the second T20I against Afghanistan. Rohit Sharma started the innings with Shubman Gill in Mohali, while Tilak Verma was seen playing at number-3. Coach Rahul Dravid has already said that if the team management has not closed the option of opening the innings with Kohli and Rohit, then Kohli can be seen either at number-3 or opening.
