The Adelaide Strikers clinched the Women’s Big Bash tournament after defeating two-time champions Sydney Sixers at the North Sydney Oval on Saturday. The team of Adelaide Strikers has become the champion in the third attempt. She had lost the final in 2019 and 2021. This time the team of strikers did not make any mistake and won the final match.

Adelaide Strikers captain Tahila McGrath won the toss and decided to bat first. Adelaide’s team scored 147 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. Deandra Dottin played a brilliant inning for him. He played an inning of 52 runs off 37 balls. During this, Dottin hit six fours and two sixes. Katy Mack scored 31 off 26 balls, Captain Tahila scored 24 off 21 balls and L. Walwarth played an inning of 15 runs off 16 balls. Sophie Axestone took two wickets for Sydney Sixers.

Both took the team’s score to 76 runs. Bolton was dismissed on the last ball of the 14th over. He scored 32 runs off 27 balls.

Ellyse Perry got out in the next over after scoring 33 runs. Deandra Dottin took two wickets for 30 runs in four overs for Adelaide Strikers. Darcy Brown took two wickets.
