WC Qualifier 2023: Brandon McMullen created history by taking 5 wickets against Ireland

Scotland’s fast bowler created history in the ICC World Cup Qualifier match between Scotland and Ireland. Brandon McMullen made a career-best dismissal of five Ireland batsmen. Apart from this, Braden McMullan became the fifth Scottish fast bowler to take five wickets in ODIs.

These five batsmen were dismissed by Brandon McMullen :-

Scottish fast bowler Brandon McMullan made Starling his first victim. Paul Stirling dismissed without opening the account. Ireland’s captain Balbirnie got the second wicket. Balbirnie also returned to the pavilion without opening an account. Harry Tector took the third wicket. McMullen sent Harry to the pavilion on a personal score of 6.

Best bowling of ODI career: –

Brandon McMullen made Dockrell his fourth victim. Dockrell played an inning of 69 runs. Delany was made his fifth victim by Braden McMullen. McMullen took 5/34 in 7 overs with 1 maiden. This is McMullen’s best performance in ODIs. Brandon has played 9 ODIs so far and has taken 16 wickets at an economy of 3.90.
