The game has now freed him from the rigors of international cricket, while also being one of the greatest players in the world. T20 free agents are the most sought after.
Suffering from a troublesome left knee and striking well below his lofty standard in the first half of the year, Pollard faced calls to “re-invent” himself as he entered the twilight of his career.

Renegades in the state-based Big Bash tournament:-
He said time constraints had kept him out of the BBL since 2017-18. But he has fond memories of his time in the Renegades and Strikers. And South Australia Redbacks in the state-based Big Bash tournament.
“Now getting a chance to play (Big Bash) and entertain the fans is something. I am looking forward to it again,” he added.

Pollard’s availability window for the BBL is yet to be confirmed. But he is unlikely to play for the full season.
Pollard was confirmed on Thursday to sign up. With the UAE‘s international league T20 competition, which is set to begin in January.
