This team has won 5 out of 11 matches and this team is trying hard to reach the playoffs under the captaincy of Rishabh Pant. Although this team has not been able to perform as a unit so far, this team’s assistant coach Shane Watson talked about the team’s lack before the match against Rajasthan.

Talking about Delhi’s most troubling thing in this season of IPL, Shane Watson said that the lack of consistency in execution of plans has hurt Delhi the most. Our biggest challenge this season has been our execution. We have implemented our plans in all the three departments several times, but we have not been able to stay consistent. Our players are constantly working hard to build their performance and we are hopeful that we can execute our plans in the next few matches.

Shane Watson said about the team’s head coach Ricky Ponting that he always tells the players to learn from their previous matches. Ricky tells the players to look at their every shortcoming and then learn from them and try to move forward. Most importantly, players need to keep learning. Let us tell you that Delhi team has won 5 out of 11 matches till now and with 10 points this team is fifth in the points table and needs to win the remaining matches to make it to the playoffs. .
