MS Dhoni will not play IPL 2024?

During the Indian Premier League 2023, Dhoni cricket fans around the world were assuming that this is going to be his last IPL season. But after winning the final match on this, he said that there is still time in the next IPL season. The time to come will tell what happens.

CSK CEO gave this big statement :-

Kasi Vishwanath, CEO of Chennai Super Kings said, “Dhoni knows very well what he has to do next.” He said, ‘If he has to take some decisions related to retirement, he will go directly to N. Will go and talk to Srinivasan. His journey with Chennai Super Kings started in 2008 and is going to continue.

Surgery was done after IPL 2023 final :-

Dhoni troubled by knee injury throughout IPL 2023. Due to this, he’s also seen landing in the lower order to bat. After winning the final match against Gujarat Titans, Dhoni directly left for Mumbai, where he underwent knee surgery.

At present, he is resting on the advice of doctors. It may take up to 2-3 months for them to fit completely. After this, he can be seen practicing in the field again.
