Wisden Cricketer of the year: Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah have been named among the five players selected by Wisden for 2022 ‘Cricketer of the Year’. Apart from this, the names of New Zealand’s Devon Conway, England’s fast bowler Ollie Robinson and South African women’s cricketer Dane Van Niekerk are also included in this list.

Joe Root was selected as the best leading cricketer :-

England’s Joe Root named the Leading Cricketer of the Year; while South African women’s team batsman Lizelle Lee has been chosen as the Leading Women’s Cricketer. Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan named T20 Cricketer of the Year. All these titles given to the cricketer who has performed amazingly in the year.
