Women Reservation Bill: The Government of India has got the Women’s Reservation Bill passed in the Lok Sabha. Women associated with the sports world have given their reaction on the passing of this bill. Everyone has appreciated this bill.

Former Indian women’s cricket team captain Mithali Raj has supported the women’s reservation bill. Talking to PTI, Mithali said that this is a good step by the Indian government. This will increase women’s participation. Besides, it will be easier to raise voice on issues related to women.

Women Reservation Bill: Mithali Raj said, “Everyone will benefit from this bill, due to the women’s representation in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, there will be more focus on the issues related to the women’s society. Their representation will increase. This is a good step by the Government of India. If the government continues like this If we continue to work together, gender equality and empowerment will be strengthened.”

Rajya Sabha member and India’s star boxer MC Mary Kom also supported the Women’s Reservation Bill. She said that this is a great step by the Government of India. At least the government took a good step. This will help in raising the voice of women.
