Women’s Ashes: Tahlia McGrath is the Player of the Match for her 42. McGrath blasted an unbeaten 91 from 49 balls. After taking 3-26 Australia chased down 170 with 18 balls to spare at the Adelaide Oval.

He shared a 144-run partnership with captain Meg Lanning in which he scored 64 off 44 balls to help Australia reach their highest chase in T20Is.

England scored 70 runs in their 20 overs, led by Danny Wyatt, setting a target of 169-4.

A poor bowling and fielding performance cost England. They were unable to keep any pressure on the brilliant McGrath and Lanning.

Vijay gave Australia two points in the multi-format series. Of which Saturday will be the second of three T20Is at the Adelaide Oval.
