Captain Hayley Mathews credited West Indies for their thrilling three-run win over Pakistan in the ongoing ICC Women’s T20 World Cup here.

Mathews contributed brilliantly to lead his team to victory. Apart from scoring 20 runs at a brisk pace, he also took two wickets for 14 runs with a brilliant catch. But the Windies skipper had special praise for his players’ tenacity in the field. They successfully defended a modest target of 117 runs on Sunday.
