World Cup 2023: Big crisis again in front of ICC, Kolkata Police refused to provide security

The Kolkata Police has surrendered to provide security for the England-Pakistan World Cup match at Eden Gardens Stadium on 12th November, the day of Diwali.

World Cup 2023: It is not possible to deploy police personnel :-

According to information received from sources, the Bengal Cricket Association (CAB) has been informed by the police that it will not be possible for them to deploy policemen in the stadium for the match to be held on Diwali.

No statement has come from the police:-

World Cup 2023: However, no official statement has come from the police so far in this regard. On the other hand, when CAB President Snehasish Ganguly was asked about this, he said that till now nothing has been said by the police to the CAB. If the police say something like this, we will inform the International Cricket Council about it. It is the responsibility of the police to provide security. So we will not be able to say anything about it.
