World Cup 2023: Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar said –

“These are bad things. BCCI or PCB can’t do anything in this matter. BCCI can’t do anything without consulting the Indian government. Our board can’t do anything without consulting the government of our country.”

Akhtar added – “When it comes to India-Pakistan rivalry, everyone is voicing their views. I request all the former players of both the teams to refrain from making unnecessary statements. If Narendra Modi’s government gives the green signal then who is BCCI to travel to Pakistan.”
