World Cup 2023 Tickets: BCCI is all set to hand over the management of ticket sales for the ODI World Cup 2023 to two online ticketing platforms/agencies, which include BookMyShow and Paytm. The ODI World Cup 2023 will start on 5 October. The first match, match will be played between England vs New Zealand (ENG vs NZ).

Tickets for the semi-finals

Tickets for the World Cup semi-final match will be available on Paytm.com. A source told TOI that tickets for high-profile matches like India vs Pakistan (IND vs PAK). And the final of the ODI World Cup will be available on Bookmyshow.com. The ICC visited all the 12 venues where World Cup matches and pre-tournament games will be held in the interim.

Ticket prices are to be decided by July 31

After a meeting with state associations in New Delhi on Thursday, BCCI secretary Jay Shah said that ticket sales will begin only after the entire process of rescheduling is completed. He asked each state body to inform the Board of India about their final ticket prices by July 31. Shah nevertheless suggested that spectators would need printed tickets to enter the stadium for its main events.

Hospitality and General Tickets

The state association is required to give 500 free general admission tickets to the Indian board for the ODI World Cup in 2023. In a situation when ICC (250 hospitality and 1800 general tickets) and BCCI (300 hospitality and general stand seats each) opt for it. The BCCI has recommended providing additional hospitality tickets to the state.
